Google+ Hangouts on Air Experts?

#1

I am interested in creating hangouts on air, but am not familiar with the space. Does anybody have any experience with this? I’d love to chat!

My community has done one per week since Hangout on Air (HoA) have been possible with early access.
There are 230 of them here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDshhlXcjBjaTw42V3zlbi1uqr9rV3dwH
I was about to reply when I saw the post is almost two years old and has zero replies.

I came back after months, maybe years after seeing Jono’s email today. You could get tons of info by joining one of the many communities on Google+ dedicated to HoA. This underlines a question that needs to be asked: What exactly is the rightful place for forums like this one these days when everyone is on Facebook and other social platforms like Google+?

I only know of a few forums that are better than social media. They are all very specific in nature, usually concerned with a single specific product or procedure. One I found useful was the Roland guitar synthesizer forum which has over 60,000 posts one one of the several Roland products. It is the source of worldwide knowledge on those guitar synthesizers. It fills a void that previously existed in this topic.
